A New Year, Faithful Steps Forward in 2026

As we begin this new year, we’re taking time to reflect on how God has been guiding us since stepping into full-time ministry in the Philippines and Vietnam last November. The past few months have been full, meaningful, and humbling - marked by countless moments where God opened doors in ways we never could have planned.

From everyday conversations with cab drivers, strangers in malls, and families we met along the way, we’ve had many opportunities to share about Jesus and pray with both adults and children as they made decisions to follow Christ. These moments reminded us that ministry doesn’t only happen in churches, it happens everywhere.
In November, we traveled to churches across Mindanao and into remote jungle areas, where altar calls after services led many people to return to Christ. On November 25th, we gathered with pastors for a time of bonding and fellowship at a local resort in Panabo City, centered on gratitude for both God’s faithfulness and for one another.
Throughout the Thanksgiving season, we continued hosting Bible studies at Strength in the Valley headquarters, along with children’s ministry and women’s fellowship at The Lighthouse Center. These times of learning, prayer, and community continue to be a foundation of the work here.

Early December brought one of our most memorable stops yet. In Anding, just outside Molave, we ministered in rural churches and had the opportunity to speak at Molave High School, sharing the Gospel with about 130 students. We were also able to bless both students and staff with a meal, an experience we’ll never forget. Later in December, we joined the 39th Annual Maranatha Full Gospel Church Thanksgiving Celebration in Bais City, Negros Island.

Since arriving in An Khe, Vietnam, on January 27th, the pace hasn’t slowed. We’ve spent our days in visitation, meet-and-greets, Bible studies, and one-on-one conversations about faith. We also recently had the opportunity to volunteer with a Catholic Medical Mission in Dak Lak Province, serving alongside others to care for those in need.
As we step into this new year, we’re holding onto our verse for the year:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” — Jeremiah 29:11
Please continue to pray for us - for wisdom, strength, and open hearts - as we follow God’s leading in this season. To read more stories and see photos from the field, visit our Facebook page, and if you’d like to stay connected, you can find more updates on our blog.
Thank you for walking with us into this new year.
