As we move through August, we’re thrilled to bring you up to speed with some of the transformative work happening through our mission efforts. From exciting name changes to ongoing renovations, your support continues to drive meaningful change. Here’s a look at the latest updates on our projects in the Philippines, reflecting the incredible progress and impact we’re witnessing together.
The Healing Project: A New Name and Continued Progress
Our work on “The Healing Project” in San Jose, Negros Island, Philippines has been progressing remarkably. Thanks to the generous support from Daybreak Community Church, we have invested $24,500.00 US funds into this project, building the church from the ground up. In a significant development, the leadership has decided to rename the church from “Holy Ground Full Gospel Church” to “Daybreak Community Church” in the Philippines. We’re incredibly honored and excited about this new chapter and invite you to watch the latest video update of the project below.
Here are some photos of the construction of the church:
Women’s & Children’s Center Renovations
In Panabo City, Mindanao, Philippines, we’re pleased to report that renovations at “The Women’s & Children’s Center” (The Lighthouse Center) are progressing well. Recent work includes stuccoing and painting the children’s classroom, bringing us closer to creating a safe and nurturing environment for the kids. Check out the latest photos below to see the transformation taking place.
