25 Blessings for the Jerusalem Children's Home in Haiti

Beloved sponsors and supporters, greetings in Christ Jesus our Lord.

We wanted to reach out to you to thank you for your love and support to Mountains to Mountains Ministries over the years.

In the time we’ve served, Jerusalem Children’s Home has seen many ups and downs, but through the good seasons and bad seasons God has allowed us to do some incredible work. Allow us a moment to share what God did through you:

1. We built a water well, pump, and distribution system at the orphanage.

2. A new home built for an elderly woman named Silianna, who was living in a grass hut on top of a mountain.

3. New beds were provided for the orphans and police department in Bombardopolis, Haiti.

4. We rebuilt a church, from the foundation up, during the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew. 5. Piti Wazo, a new school house, was built near Jerusalem Church.

6. A new see-through metal security gate was installed, providing more security for the area.

7. We restored old chicken coops, and new chicken coops were built to provide much needed protein and income to the orphanage.

8. Goats were purchased to provide milk, a source of protein, and business income.

9. Beekeeping was introduced to the orphanage as a source of nutrition and to provide income.

10. A new Missionary House was built to host missionaries and provide income from traveling guests.

11. The old outhouse (which was very unsanitary) was destroyed, and replaced with new toilets, showers, sinks, and running water.

12. Mountains to Mountains provided President Reedson with a pre-owned SUV and sent it, by ship, from Florida to Port au Prince, Haiti.

13. Mountains to Mountains helped repair the children’s quarters, which were damaged by wind, rain, and tropical storms.

14. A brand new solar electrical system was installed in 2022.

15. Over the years, Mountains to Mountains Ministries helped create a sponsorship program for education and food for the orphans.

16. When Mountains to Mountains first arrived, many of the appliances no longer functioned or they were lacking. Those have all been furnished or replaced.

17. We’ve provided medical care to orphans and the villagers of Bombardopolis, Haiti.

18. Mountains to Mountains has provided much needed clothing, shoes, medicine to both the orphans and the villagers of Bombardopolis, Haiti.

19. We’ve done countless food distributions to some of the poorest people on the planet.

20. We’ve led hundreds of people in the sinner’s prayer. Allowing them to make spiritual decisions to believe upon Christ.

21. Mountains to Mountains was instrumental in building a “Boy’s Transition Store” for when the boys age out of the program, when they turn 18. When this store is fully stocked, it will provide another revenue source to Jerusalem Children’s Home.

22. We’ve helped with the upkeep on all of the infrastructure, which already existed, and what we’ve helped to put in place.

23. Mountains to Mountains provided sports equipment, toys, soccer goals, and a playground on-site, at Jerusalem Children’s Home.

24. We helped provide funding for a cook, security guard, and laborers for all of the many projects implemented in Bombardopolis, Haiti.

25. Last, but certainly not least -- YOU, our amazing donors, have literally given hundreds of thousands of dollars toward one of the most impoverished nations on Earth. We honestly couldn't be more grateful for your support.

With every donation, you made it possible for President Reedson and Jerusalem Children’s Home to succeed in one of the harshest environments.

Over the last year and a half, President Greg Allard, Vice-president Lance Cross, Secretary-Treasurer Julie Allard and the Board have been doing much praying, thinking, considering, and discussing about what our mission goals for JCH going forward are. And we all agreed, and came to the conclusion, that we have completed what God has set us out to do. So, on March 19, 2023, we had our Annual Business Meeting, and it was decided unanimously, that we are closing this chapter of our relationship with President Reedson Maurancy and Jerusalem Children’s Home.

Mountains to Mountains Ministries will be ending it’s 501c3, (non-profit status), on December 31, 2023.

In the meantime, we are asking, (not requiring), all of our sponsors and donors to continue giving their monthly donations through the end of October 2023. This allows President Reedson Maurancy an opportunity to find new donors and sponsors for Jerusalem Children’s Home. It gives everyone a “ramp down” period, as to not cutoff sponsorship abruptly. We encourage you to connect with Reedson over Facebook by adding him as a friend.

Again, your love and sacrifice has inspired us all. And we couldn’t have made the difference we did without your support. You truly represent, what it says in Acts 20:35, when Jesus said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”

With love and deepest respect,

The Board of Mountains to Mountains Ministries, Inc.
